Corrigan Rug Cleaners began in August, 1944 in Winchester, VA by Raymond "Tag" and Helen "Hankie" Corrigan.  The couple started out cleaning rugs in a chicken coop and slowly built the business into what it is today.

Their son, Denny and wife Bev, took ownership of the business in 1983 and have carried on the Corrigan traditions.  Today, the business remains in the family, owned and operated by Denny and his son Tag.  Corrigan's is a true family owned and operated business and prides itself as being one of the many family owned businesses in Winchester, Va.

Corrigan's is proud to have a dedicated team working with them, long time employee, Kevin and his son who is also named Kevin provide our services out on the trucks.  The "Kevins" perform pick up and deliveries as well as cleaning wall-to-wall carpet in our customers' homes.

 

Our team within the shop includes Kelli who spends the day working along side Tag and Denny assisting with cleaning when needed and performing all the day-to-day services provided in our shop.  Kelli heads up sales, marketing, social media and customer service efforts.  She also performs the requested repairs on the rugs. The entire team is committed to carrying on the Corrigan standard and are happy to assist our customers in any way we can.

Though Corrigan's specializes in oriental rug cleaning and repair, we clean all types of rugs in our Shop as well as upholstery.  Additionally, we offer cleaning of wall-to-wall carpet in your home or business.  Our pick up and delivery services further enables us to provide the customer service we have become known for over the years.  Having the luxury or our team pick up your rugs, bring them back and place them for you, eases the burden of handling large rugs on your own.

In the event you have a rug that is showing its age or has been damaged, Kelli along with Bev continue the work previously performed by Hankie for the requested repairs.  All repairs are performed in our Shop and range from replacing fringe and repairing edges to recreating damaged areas.  Denny and Tag also do amazing things when extensive damage requires us to place a patch on the rug.  While this work is very tedious, having an eye for details and being in the business for so many years enables us to treat each repair as priority.  Commitment to quality in evident in each finished task.
